For the handle I hoop 1 layer of WSS. Lightly spray your fabric (I use a sandwich of two layers fabric with cutaway stabilizer between for stiffness)
and place on top of WSS. Run first sets of running stitches
Before you run final satin stitch. Take hoop off of machine and clip excess fabric. Do not unhoop.
Place back on machine and finish. Unhoop and trim.

For body of towel topper hoop 1 layer WSS. Lightly spray with sticky spray and press a single piece of fabric to it. Stitch Dowel and the placement line for the handle.
Attach handle where placement line is.
Layer a piece of stabilizer and fabric on top of first piece that has already been stitched on. Do not unhoop!
Run design outlines as shown.

Clip open and trim excess fabric from towel opening. Be careful to not cut threads

Clip open the dowel holder-this adds support for the towel. Do not clip thru the front.

Insert dowel or small support if desired.
